debating

Debating wether to let my baby have the victim k injection after birth or not, is eeveryone else letting it be done or not.

Yeah it will help that's why they offer itbut didn't really know much about it,good to know now that other people get it done. Thanks

I didnt have a choice, mine was in nicu for 90 days. I would say they are only doing things to help ypu and your baby. If they didnt think it was a good idea they wouldnt offer it.

The bleeding that babies can get from not getting it is internal bleeding .. u can get circumsized a babies vit k levels are at normal level between 5-7 says after birth u can alway get baby circ. Then .. they also have vitamin k drops so u dont have to give ur baby a shot right away .. i have been considerig getting those instead

I have been debating on this too my first child got it but he didnt get other vaccines so i have done my research and im pretty sure were gonna do vit k shot again .. its a tuff choice jus because there is so many reasons to get it and alot of reasons not to

I am. If your baby gets a cut and doesn't have the vitamin k, he/she might not have the ability to clot blood. I am also getting my son circumcised, so it's required.
