It is possible just make sure you mention it to your doctor! I struggled with depression after birth im pretty sure it was post partum depression but i chose to not get help. Something i now regret. After my toddler was born i resented her. A lot :( i never hurt her nor did i hurt myself. I had plenty of days where i was getting angry with her to the point i had to take her next door to my neighbor with a full diaper bag and go home and i cried and cried. And a few times i had to call my sister in law to come get her because of the same thing. The reason i chose not to get help was because i was terrified of what my husband would think. (He believes depression is not real, and does not understand anything about it.) If you are depressed during pregnancy you should definitely talk to your dr immediately because it can increase your risk of pp depression. But there honestly is no reason to go through depression alone, there are options available

its always possible but you wont know until you get to that point.. try not to stress it so much for now until that time comes. theres things the dr can give you to help with post partum depression if it comes to that. just make sure your dr knows about your depression and let them know your concerns about after birth.. theyll probably tell you the same thing

Me too. Just make sure you report any kind of.depression to your drs. Post partum is whole different animal then baby blues. Every one get blue but depression is another story. My Dr knows Iam depressed but am also refusing meds because, sorry to those that take them, they haven't been around long enough to give.me peace of mind that they are safe. I took them before I was preggo but won't now. If I need them after I will be honest with my Dr.
