Tmi... Constipation

is it safe to use suppositories? I'm 39 weeks pregnant today and I haven't pooped in 2 days, which isn't too bad but my butt hurts and my back is KILLING me because it's stuck in there /: sorry for the tmi. I'm just miserable and I don't want to wait for miralax or fiber to work into my system

I've never taken ducolax so I'm not sure. What does it say on the package they come in?

Yup just ask the pharmacist to show you which ones. I was constipated after giving birth and I was worried about what I could take because I didn't want it to get passed to my baby through breastfeeding and the pharmacist recommended a glycerin supposatory because he said it won't get absorbed into my system. It basically acts as a stool softener and a lubricant. You can also take a stool softener orally that's a gel capsule. Ask the pharmacist about those too!
