I'm seeing a dentist and I'm preggo. I read that its OK. But doesn't hurt to check w a dr. Novacaine shouldn't hurt baby but others will. U can look it up on Google.
I work at a dental office. Usually depends on how far along you are if the dentist will do the filling. But they use a different type of injection when you're pregnant so they don't harm the baby
Ah great :) I thought the numbing injection was dangerous to the baba that's why I was panicking a bit as I don't want to do anything to harm him but if it's not then il go on and get booked in. Thank you :)
I had 2 or 3 cavities filled at once when I was pregnant? the numbing meds aren't dangerous to the baby, so I don't understand what your concern is? maybe I read it wrong.. either way, you CAN have your cavities filled while pregnant, there's no danger there. good luck & congrats!! ((:
Still I haven't been to the dentist. Waiting to get an appointment by next week.
Temporary filling may not last until ur baby arrives. For me it lasts only for a month. I'm having a tooth issue as well from the begging of first trimester by OB asked me to wait until the second trimester begins to do anything for that. I am now 14 weeks, I asked him if filling or extraction could be done now and he said both can be done and asked me to try for a nerve filling. Are you referring to anesthetic injection on the gum? It could be injected but be mindful about the antibiotics related injection. But better to get your Obs opinion in overall. I'm advising on what my OB said.
