down syndrome
Im 22 yrs old, 4 months pregnant with my first child. I was told that the baby has a risk of having down syndrome and I will be doing the amnio test to find out. I am really scared. Any tips for the amnio test? Or any tips at all.
Did they do that special blood test for you? Or does they just go to the amino as a choice?
I was in the same boat as you. I was told at 16 weeks that my child could have down syndrome and chromosomal defects so I had two blood tests then I went to a specialist and had the amino done. After all that everything seemed to be good. For the amino just relax. I kept my eyes closed the whole time.
