drinking water

So of course I know drinking water is a must pregnant but every time I take a drink I wanna throw up...it makes my stomach feel so full and just ugh...what can it be...why can't I drink water and not get sick

iv been feeling the same way with this pregnancy too. it tastes so bad to me and its got to the point where i dont want it now because i also get that feeling where i want to throw it up=/. i tried ice so at least im getting some sort of water=).

I have a really hard time with cold water so I usually drink room temperature water and its not as harsh on my stomach.

i was the same way.. to keep from getting dehydrated i drank pedialite and gatorade.. and walmart sells the packets of pedialite to put in water bottles.. it helped a lot

I agree with trying ice I couldn't.keep water dwn at first at all but id eat ice n be fine the ice to me was so satisfying id eat it all day long!!

I had the same problem and my OB suggested that I mix a little real lemon in it. I didn't want to throw up with the lemon. Good luck!

for the longest time I couldn't drink plain water at all, I ended up buy the water flavoring packets at the store ( tried to stick with sugar free ones ) and that helped at lot, Now that I am further along I can drink plain water but only if it's ice cold

Try some propel water.. like mixing half propel and half water. Or even do half gatorade and half water.

Water is harsh on the stomach. I learned that from my Allere nurse when I had hyperemesis with my first born. The only way I could manage any water was ice pellets from Sonic.
