falling down stairs

Im 17wks and a couple days ago I fell down about 8 wood stairs all on my back and side. I called my doctor right away and she said i am most likely fine. Im pretty bruised up but have no bleeding and no severe cramping but I'm still stressed about it. Has anyone else ever done this and have advice/reassurance?

I fell going over a baby gate from the stairs around 27 weeks, I just laid down for a few minutes on the couch and waited until I felt movement from the baby, and it was ok. I fell on my leg and hand. No bruises or anything but still scary. Your probably just fine, as long as you didn't hit your belly. You probably don't feel movements yet from your baby, so you should be ok. If you start seeing blood on your underwear, go to the er, otherwise you should be fine. Even one of my aunts fell when she was pregnant with my cousin and my cousin was just fine. Hopefully that gives you some relief.

I'm suprised they didn't have you come in to get evaluated to check babies heartbeat at least.

I actually have an appointment tomorrow. I've been just waiting it out a couple days since im being seen so soon anyway. Ive always bruised super easily but like you ive just been paranoid and can't sleep due to fear of something not being right tomorrow. Thank you!

Baby is probably fine but if it was me I'd still go to the ER if you are all bruised up. I'm kinda paranoid though about those kinda things no comments in the world would help me relax until I got to see him or hear his heartbeat and know for sure my son is ok but that's me
