fed up

Hi everyone so basically I'm trying to decided whether I should keep my job or step down because I'm a manager and it's getting very very stressful. I'm very concerned with my health and my baby. I'm currently 17 weeks. My bf said just to do what ever I want. Which dosent help cuz I kno he needs help with bills. I'm just stuck in between and to find another job. Will they even want to hire a pregnant girl?? I really want to quit I just can't be without a job.

Your right. It's just the team I have is a bunch of little kids and they are constantly calling out or cutting corners on work. I'm loosing employees every other month. It's frustrating especially when I can't rely on my tesm. I'm havin to work up to 60 hours a week with on day off.

Can you delegate tasks to your team? That might take some pressure off if you can get others to help you out more. Otherwise look up your company's policy on maternity leave and FMLA. You could talk to the person above you or HR to see if there is a way to decrease your responsibility our workload temporarily without taking a demotion or quitting. You could talk to your doctor too and explain what you do at your job and they should be able to give you a better idea of stress level and impact on baby. However, it's ultimately your decision. I quit/stopped taking assignments at my work and it's hard, but we're making it somehow. It's just one day at a time.
