Thanks for your opinion ladies :)
I give in to cravings and snacks not always the healthiest either(cocoa pebbles have been my fav) and ive gained 16 lbs i wouldnt stress it hun
Honestly I eat whatever my heart desires pizza, ice cream, candy. I've always been like this even before pregnancy. Obviously everyone is different but I've only gained about 40 lbs and I've always been tiny.
It's pretty insane that I've gained 40 lbs and I've never weighed this much but I'd do it all over for my son
Typically in a normal healthy pregnancy you'll gain 35-45 pounds so don't worry
Thanks that makes me feel better I'll try to avoid unhealthy foods for the next 10 days left I have..
I wouldn't worry. I was forever hungry in the last 3 weeks with my son. In the last month whatever you eat also puts fat on your baby. My son was born weighing 9lb2oz. All the weight you put on now will just melt away. Don't worry :)
Thanks but almost all my pregnancy I have been eating more healthy foods than unhealthy and yesterday I drank soda, today I did again, chips, and I was eating marshmallows and ice cream and almost my whole pregnancy I stop eating this type of unhealthy foods and that's why I worry bcuz this isn't healthy and before intead of doing that I would have healthy snacks like peanuts, tuna sandwiches, fruits, vegetables etc...I am mad at myself why is this change..
I keep cut fresh veggies in a Tupperware container in my fridge,so when the snack monster makes her hourly appearance, they're easier to get to and nosh on than the naughty snacks. I also make my husband hide the REALLY naughty snacks like cookies and candy, so I have to really think about it and ask him to get me a serving if thats what I really want. He gets a kick out of being the cake guardian.
Your pregnant. I use to eat two times a day breakfast and lunch maybe dinner if I was up late. I now eat almost every hour or every other hour. Sure I've gained 30 pounds but your carrying another human in you. And they take everything from you so just as food is healthy for the baby it's healthy for you too. Just eat smaller meals and healthier meals. The healthier you eat the less hungry you feel. Keep healthy snacks on hand. Eat peanut butter and fruit or just a peanut butter sandwich filling and it has tons of protein
