finding out the sex...

Hey guys, I'm 17 weeks, and having my 20 week scan on march 1st. I really want to find out the sex but my other half doesn't :/ we're only planning the one baby so this chance will never happen again. It's a shame really, just wanted to know what everyone else's opinions are? Thanks mums :) xo

You can always have the ultrasound technician tell you and not your other half.

Lol good luck not telling your partner what it is because it will come out some how from someone, or when he sees you looking at stuff. We found out with my first and this one we are not. It's very important to my husband to be surprised this time and it's going to be hard to wait but I'm doing it for him. Good luck :)

You can have them put the results in a sealed envelope...i had a friend do that...then you can decide to look or not!!

I know a couple who did this before I met them - they swear that she never spilled the beans before the birth!

If your planning on only having one then let it be a surprise. You could ask the nurse to write it on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelop but its hard for one to know and not let it slip out.
