labor?
Ok so do you just know when you're going into labor? What the heck do contractions feel like? Something weird is going on but I don't want to get all freaked out for nothing. I kind of feel like this is it but I'm only 38 weeks. What should I do?
Ive had three, and only with my second did i just know it was time, although I had had false labor 2 times before that. My first was back labor, and my third the contractions never got regular until I was in transition. Its a horrible waiting game, and your body can play tricks on you! Timing contractions, and waiting a few hours to see if they are regular and getting longer and closer together is the best way to tell.
they say u will know. but i was havin full contractions and i didnt thnk they wer tht bad so didnt go to hospital. time i got to hospital i was 7cm and pretty much ready to hav baby.
Im 38 wks +6 days and feel the same way! Idk why labor feels like! Lol any pain i have an i freak out!
They have subsided the just a dull achey feeling. I think I'm just freaking myself out. Everyone just keeps saying that you'll know when to go to rhe hospital but I'm clueless. I think the reality that he is coming soon is just stressing me out.
Start timing the pains if their 5-3mins apart go to the hospital. but call just to make sure :)
it could be, how long do they last and how far apart are they? stay hydrated if you can and have a hot bath, take a couple paracetamol - the general rule is that if those things ease the pains or make them go away its braxton hicks, if they continue its likely to be labour x

I keep getting pains in my stomach very low and my lower back has this dull pain. I kind of feel like I have a stomach virus or something. Every so often my stomach starts hurting and I feel kind of sweaty.
what you mean something weird? i can't say how it feels going into labour Im afraid, i had to get my waters broken artificially then had back labour. you're classed as full term from 37 weeks so you could go anytime within the next 4 weeks really x
