For me I was only 16 so I was in school. I kept telling my friend that my water was abiut to break or I was about to go in labor. This was all around maybe 2. The bottom of my stomach just felt different. I had a big appetite that day too. I didn't eat much for some reason. But that day I ate anything I could get my hands on. Around 4:00 I was really tired and I felt like I had peed myself. I got up checked it was tons of discharge. Not my mucus plug though. I started having back to back contractions but blew them off because I was being stubborn. Around 6:30 I was on my way to the hospital and I got there. I was definitely in labor dilated to a four

Unsure about the dilation & thinning as I was never checked prior to going into labor with my first. I had a really good sleep the night before though I was exhausted!! Woke up, lost my mucus plug, had erratic contractions all day but was feeling pretty good. Then BAM! Midnight water broke & she was here at 4 o'clock. The only difference I felt was more rested, upset tummy (sorry tmi) & buns movements slowed right down that morning & almost felt like I was getting my period till the contractions started.
