freaking out about possible pregnancy

ok, so, i tend to freak out every time i have sex. but in this situation, i think i'm right to. i usually take birth control pills, but had been very irregular with them for a month. i had my period as usual, and then had sex with my boyfriend daily in the few days after it ended. we had a lot of sex, but we used a condom every time (although, the sex was on the rougher side). during this time, i started taking my birth control pills again (definitely daily, maybe a few hours off here and there). this is generally the case with my birth control (the irregularity), but i've never had any problems (read on). today, approximately ten days after we last had sex (this is why i'm freaking out), i came home to spotting, which is bright pink in color. could i be pregnant?

If by irregularity u mean just taking it late by a few hours then this is fine becuase there is a twelve hour window in which to take the pills. If you also used condoms around this time then i would say there is only a small chance which you could be pregnant. The spotting could just be your cycle getting back in to a rhythm... Try taking a test but if its negative try again a few days later. If you are still worried go and see your doctor. Good luck. x

Yes, it could be either thing; you might be pregnant, or it could be in fact your cycle out of wack because of the birth control pills and the way you skipped for a while. Good luck.

Anything is possible since as the last poster said condoms aren't 100% effective. However taking birth control irregularly can really mess up your cycle and may be the cause for your spotting.

You could possibly be! Condoms are not 100% affective! The only way to know is to wait and take a test. Good Luck.
