Month 1 = approx wk1-4

And you arent pregnant just 9 months. You usually can go on your 10th month. My mom went two weeks past her due date so she went 9 full months and 2 weeks during her 10th month. Almost 10 whole months.
@ quantelle, that cant be right cause im not 6 months lol. Im Due in january lol.
Stop arguing and look up a pregnancy chart. It is difficult.
Lmfao this is to funny all the explanations hubby ur beginning four months n for everyone else ur pregnancy last to ten months u can have a healthy non premature at nine months n obviously it not like its the first of the month she saying she's 18 weeks sooooooo I counts how it goes every four weeks a month for ur pregnancy !!!!goshhhhhh
I guess everyone is going to go by something different. I always thought that every 4 weeks was a new month but that's wrong because that means your pregnant for 10 months but your not. Your only pregnant for 9 months because some months have 5 weeks in them. I'd just google it if your confused...that's what I did!
People are sooo technical LOL hahaha every 4weeks is a new month plain and simple. 18 weeks is 4.5 months 20 weeks is months and so on
@lovedd1 u should just ask ur Dr. Asking on here is making a riot!!
This is what i found on baby2see.com. Hope it clarifies.
First Month: approximately 1 to 4 weeks Second Month: approximately 5 to 8 weeks Third Month: approximately 9 to 13 weeks Fourth Month: approximately 14 to 17 weeks Fifth Month: approximately 18 to 22 weeks Six Month: approximately 23 to 27 weeks Seventh Month: approximately 28 to 31 weeks Eighth Month: approximately 32 to 35 weeks Ninth Month: approximately 36 to 40 weeks.
It's not 10 months its 9 months and one week
Isn't dec 26 to jan 26 one month?? Or do we have different definitions of a month? 9-1=8. I'm confused by what you are asking me.
4.4 weeks equals 1 month
40 weeks equal 9 months and 1 week
So that means 18 - 21 weeks is 5 months
22-26 is 6 months
27-30 is 7 months
31- 35 is 8 months
36-40 is 9 months even though its 9 months and one week
You can look up the counter even on the medhelp website
Don't go by four weeks because even though its close its off
Mrscrow1
How r u 8 months on Dec 26 if ur due date is Jan 26 which is 40 wks equals 10 months???!!!! That doesn't make sense
I'm 18 weeks and just turned 4 months a couple days ago. THERE ARE NOT 4 WEEKS IN A MONTH!!!! There are usually four weeks and 2 days or 4 weeks and 3 days. Not to be cranky but this convo bugs me so much because people just think there are 4 weeks in a month. Go by your last period date. Then you will know the exact date. OR go by due date and count back. I'm due on Jan 26. So Dec 26 ill be 8 months.
To me its every 4 wks u make a new month. That's y a Dr wants to see u every 4 wks cause u make a new month. I don't go by anything else besides every 4 wks is a new month. Easy and simple.
But 40 weeks makes ten months so that's not true either. They estimate each month to be a little over four weeks since some months have more than four weeks its like 4.3 or something like that 18 weeks is the beginning of five months
It still doesn't really makes sense to me, but that's how pregnancy is measured. It's not measured like everything else is.
My doctor, and everyone in my doctor's office (which is 3 other doctors), goes by every 4 weeks is another month. When you turn 36 weeks, the Dr says you are entering your ninth month. So 8 weeks is 2 months, 12 weeks is 3 months, 16 weeks is 4 months, 20 weeks is 5 months, 24 weeks is 6 months, 28 weeks is 7 months, 32 weeks is 8 months, and 36 weeks & up is considered 9 months. It's also in tons of magazines, pregnancy books, the books that the doctor gives you, everywhere online, and on this pregnancy app. It confused me with my first pregnancy. So with this second pregnancy I asked the doctor for a chart. Hope this helps you!
I found this online..
The number of weeks in an average Gregorian year equals to approximately 52.18 weeks (365.25 days divided by 7)(which is what we go by), and the number of weeks in average month is close to 4.35. Hence, when performing weeks to months calculations it is not sufficient to simply assume that a month equals to four weeks, i.e. 4 x 7 = 28. Except February in a non-leap year, every other month is one to three days longer and this difference has to be taken into account. For example, 24 weeks equals to exactly 5 and a half months, not to 6 (24 / 4 = 6).
16 weeks does not equal 4 months regardless of the date.. if that were the case, if your baby was born, say on Aug 27- 4 months old would be dec 16th.. now that just doesn't make sense.. there aren't 4 weeks exactly in a month, I can't remember who it is but someone on here has a really good chart for how weeks translate to months. but I am also 18 weeks, we are 4 months, going on 5
Not according to my doctors chart. But either way ask you're doctor so you know for sure. :)
16 weeks old equals 4 months regardless of the date.
18 weeks is 4.5 months. At 20 weeks youll be 5 months.
