Bed rest/ short cervix
Okay so I'm on bed rest because my cervix is short it's measuring 1.9 cm... I'm 28 weeks... So I was just wondering if I could take a bath?! My doctor didn't tell me I couldn't... All she really said was bed rest, don't lift anything heavier then a gallon of milk and no sex... I was taking a bath every night for like an hour and a half lol just soaking it up.... But I'm wondering if that is what caused my cervix to shorten... And I really wouldn't want to go a head and take a bath if it's just going to shorten my cervix more... Tia!
Aw.. I miss taking long baths): but I definitely want to carry my baby full term... So I guess showers it is... Thank you!
I'm on bed rest for a short cervix as well and one of the things I'm not allowed to do is take baths. I haven't asked my doctor why though. I've been meaning to because I love soaking in the tub. So I guess just stick to showers until you talk to your doctor.
