Dancing and squats are supposed to help but they've never worked for me. Walking a lot did help though.
Did u have contractions right away or how long did it take.
I ended up taking castor oil my last pregnancy because nothing was working for me. Walking helped me to dilate more but the castor oil really did the trick for me.
walking up and down steps i did that about 10 times and my contractions were coming every 3-5 mins and i also
dilated fast bc of it
I did zumba and walked a lot during my first pregnancy. I definately think that helped me to have my baby a few days before my due date and my labor and delivery was eight hours total.
So when did u guys started to do the walkin n the up n down steps? After what week? Im 37 weeks n im afraid i wont dilate n i cant be induce n I really don't want a cesarean
physical activity throughout the pregnancy is best. Nothing strenuous. A lot of OB's recommend walking. Doing stuff before hand won't do much to help kickstart. Honestly if u ask the doc's, one of the more effective things that will kickstart labor is an orgasm, no joke.
I just turned 38 weeks today I went walking around the track and going up and down the stairs while eating pineapples for an hr total. Hmmmmm I hope by in the morning I've dilated some. My doc appt is tomorrow at 1. So we shall see.
My Dr told me pineapple is no good to jump start labor it makes the baby stay in.
