Anyone else?

Had anyone else struggled with pains in your calves while sleeping? My right calve has been cramping in my sleep causing me to wake up. Or hurts so bad! My dh thinks it's just me building muscle from the extra weight from the baby, and if I fidget my leg he thinks out makes it worse. Also to add on I'm stubborn and have kept wearing high heels so that can put extra strain on my calves. But dead of sleep, cramp, wake up, then it goes away.

This happened to me with all four of my pregnancies from about the seventh month up until I delivered. Try eating a banana each night before bed and do calf stretches. You can look up online how to do them I wouldn't be able to instruct you if I tried lol. Hope this helps!

Thanks tons! That'll work, I have spinach in the fridge and peanut butter at my desk at work for in case I get hungry. I'll just have to get hungry more often! :)

It might be a good idea to switch from the heels, also to add some more magnesium to your diet. We were always told when I played soccer and was prone to them to eat bananas, but wheat bran, peanut butter, spinach and oatmeal are just a few examples of foods that are high in magnesium. Haven't had them a whole lot during this pregnancy but know they're no fun so hope they get better for you.
