experiences of babies born at 35 weeks?

I'm just curious if yall can give some input about babies born at 35 weeks?  Were they healthy? Did he/she need an extra long hospital stay? How big was the baby? What sent you into labor was it natural or dr/self induced?  Just the overall experience (:

My daughter was born at 34 weeks weighed 5.9lbs had no problems breathing but some eating. Stayed in the NICU for 4-5 days then came home. Now she's a healthy strong 19 month old

With my first my son was born at 35weeks. He weighed 4lb 7oz and was 17.5in long. He didn't have any problems whatsoever. Didn't need any help breathing or eating. He did however have to stay in the nicu for 6days. They wanted to monitor him and make sure he continued to eat and gain weight. He also failed the car seat test. He eventually had to come home in a car bed instead.
I never went into labor. They took him by emergency c section due to severe preeclampsia.

My good friend had her baby 5 weeks early and the baby was completely healthy and developed enough to not spend extra days in the hospital. She was able to leave with the parents the day after her birth.

My water broke at 34 weeks and he had a regular hospital stay.  He had to go back though due to jaundice.  He weighed 4 lb 2 oz. But he gained fast.

I'm 34 weeks 6 days.....inducing is not an option this early....I've been in the hospital 9 days now....I went into labor 9 days ago...they tried everything to stop it the first few days but nothing worked....I'm still contracting daily more and more and 80% thinned and 5 cm dilated....through ultrasounds they say my little girl weighs almost 5 lbs. Her head is like 12 cm diameter....any day now she should be born but she sure is taking her time..
