sex in late pregnancy

Hellooo! I'm 37 weeks pregnant. I was just wondering if its still okay to have sex? I really don't like having sex anymore. But my boyfriend wants to so we will every once in awhile. But its been about a month sense we have because I just don't have the desire. But tmi we did tonight. I was just wondering is it safe to still have sex? I know I'm considered "full term" now. But I still want my baby to cook for at least another 2 weeks. And I don't want anything to trigger labor.

Funny that it took me literally 2 freaking hours to get my daughters dad awake punching him in his arm finally got him up lol it was the best present ever though i do have to say :) they brought her back from her bath in a handmade stocking :) of course she hates her bday now and i hate xmas altogether but still the best present ever :)

U should be fine. I'm 38+4 nd have had sex basically every day my whole pregnancy. I'm wo glad my bf isn't like some.men who think its weird to wen.the girl is so far along. My bf still Luvs it lol thank good.ess cuz I've been a lil horn dog the whole time as well lol but I think u will be fine hun

Semen can cause it to speed up depending on where your at in your pregnancy . But if your not dialating or effaced and you have sex your not going to go from 0 to 10 from it . It will caise the uterus to contract which is why I said it will deff speed the process up . :)

I have too disagree about it not triggering labor when i was 37+5 wks with my daughter i had no desire for sex either like you it had been close to a month since the last tine i had it and since it was xmas eve i decided to "celebrate" with my bf at the time we were the last ones to go to sleep at 130am and had sex well by 330am i was having contractions less than 5 minutes  and we headed in to the hospital i gave birth to my daughter at 1130 xmas day she's 8 now so semen definitely can trigger labor I'm proof of it! If you still wish to have it but don't want it to start labor then you should try using condoms cuz there is a chance of going into labor

Semen will not trigger "labor" but can help the process of getting it going but I dont think one night will amount to anything progressing into active labor . Sex is good to get things going though . You don't have to abstain but maybe every so often if you want to . I wouldn't worry . I'm 36 weeks , active lol 2cm dialating and you can be like that for awhile . Congrats .  But its safe .

As long as your doc hasn't told you not to you are fine I'm 39&4 and had sex with my fiancée last night. It us possible that it can send you into labor but that's more likely if you are going at it all day several times a day lol

I don't think u have anything to worry about bcuz the baby will come when its ready if your having a healthy pregnancy so far.
