I had a sweep on Thursday and lost alot of brown discharge. Then on Friday morning I woke up to find the plug and another good bloody show been getting very mild lower abdominal pain but not sure weather all these things are leading anywhere..?? How long after a sweep can it take to get labour started if it's going to work x

Sounds like all good signs. I've known many women at your stage who went into active labor within 1-2 days of bloody show. Good Luck!

Thanks all hope it's not much longer :) midwife has suggested to keep on the go I'm sure my 2 year old will make sure I'm on my feet lol I'll keep you all to date xx

Hay I'm 38+3 n had the same things had the discharge lik  a month ago n plug loss last Sunday.. but not had bloody show also had the  mild pain....not had a sweep but if your anything lik  me its pro just get ton ready I've Ben think in every ting is her com in since I got the brown charge but nothing...just tell you so you don't get your hopes up to much a its more anoyng...but hen I've not ad the sweet so could b ;) keep us p to date xx
