hospital bag

So I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I know that it's early still but I was wondering when should you get everything for the hospital bag and when to pack it? And what do you need to pack?

I'm 33 weeks. Now is the perfect time to make a list as too your hospital bag. For myself I am packing light weight pj's that way you are comfy and don't have much snuggling your body right away. A small fleece blanket can hospitals are usually cold, slippers, towel, wash cloth, tooth brush, tooth paste, comb, brush outfit for you and the baby for discharging, a book if you like to read. I believe that is it.

I'm about to be 31 weeks and I have mine packed. I'm only bringing the basics. If you have a natural birth your only there for 2 days the most. So I have a pair of pjs to where while I'm there and then clothes to wear going home. Bra and some underwear that I don't mind getting ruined. Flip flops for shower or walking around and then breast pads and regular heavy duty pads incase hospital doesn't provide any. Then your toiletries (tooth brush toothpaste hair brush elastics etc)

All I have to throw in is my phone charger and my wallet. You need your ID for the birth certificate and it would be nice to have extra cash incase you want something from a vending machine or cafeteria.

I'm only going straight home after the hospital and they provide everything for the baby while I'm there so I'm just throwing in a few outfits to take him home in. You want a few incase your baby spits up while waiting to be discharged.
