I forgot to mention that depending on the dr, they may put you all the way under and not do the spinal

I am so sorry for your loss. I went through a miscarriage back in may of this year and had to have a d&c as well. They took me back, gave me a spinal, and put my legs up. They put medicine in to dialate my cervix and scraped out the remaining stuff that didnt come out on its own. I had bleeding similar to a period after and some cramping and had to spend the night in the hospital to make sure everything was ok. I hope all goes ok for you and again Im very sorry for your loss
