i need to vent ladies.. lol
Are you as hormonal as I am? As some of you know from my earlier post I've been sick the past few days. Well I am already on bedrest but my work asked if I could work cause 2 or 3 people had quit. I told them yeh so I can get some extra money before baby got here. So all week I've been working to help them even while I was sick. Well once my fever shot up today I called nd asked if I could cme in late cause I was going to er. I was tols by the manager on duty he didn't care if I was sick that he needed me nd I didn't have a choice??? Excuse the hell out of me? I'm sorry..I don't have a choice?? I'm pregnant nd I never use that as an excuse not to do anything..but when I'm sick it affects MY CHILD. Nd you're going to have the nerve to say I don't have a choice I have to come in.. then they had another employee textn me for information. So here's what my little hormonal self did.. I didn't show up.. I emailed corporate nd I'm getting drs note to prove I'm sick.. nd then I'm going to report every single manager that was there today.. I feel better now
Good for you! I hate when bosses think that you are a slave. We have rights and that was against the law. I would have done the same. Enjoy the rest of your day! xD
This was a pregnancy related concern, and it is illegal for them to discriminate against you for it. You did the right thing! I'm glad someone has the nerve to stand up to idiot bosses. I always chicken out
Well supposedly I'm fired now.. so it is what it is.. nd I've been taught to stand up for myself boss or no boss. I'm carrying a baby nd that job is not more important than that..
How can they fire you when you were suppose to be on bed rest and came in to help them out. You did nothing wrong. Thats is so unfair.
Idk.. but come to find out they had taken me off schedule completely for next week anyways.. so technically I wasn't even supposed to work. Lol..but I went to corporate about it. So we will see what happens
