If u are induced they normally break your water too... so if thwy break ur water if baby isn't here within 24 hours after the risk of infection has increased dramatically and they will do a csec.... don't know why they would keep you in labor for 3 days..... that would stress the baby out
My doctor told me yes. That you must be dilated to do a sweep. Even if it's 1/2cm.
Do you have to be dilated in order to get a membrane sweep?
I will be 39 weeks Friday. I'll be 40 weeks at my induction
I was in labour 8.5 hrs. Went very quick once they broke my water it was over in an hour! Have opted for another induction this time round as it was so easy and i felt in control the whole time.
I was in labor 12 hours and it went fine but then again it also depends on your body and how they react to the medicine you might be in labor linger or shorter time
Thank you. So many people keep saying I'll be in labor for 3 days if I'm not dilated. I was wondering how true is that if my doctor is using pitocin to induce me.
Yes I was and my labor was 11hrs & 22mins lng
