Try calling 211 for the Medicaid they should tell you where your application is and what you need to do next
I just gave them my husbands last 4 and that's all. As long as they accept tricare you can go to anyone. On tricares website they show you who accepts tricare in your area. My husband and I will have the same problem. Due to forced reduction he's getting out two weeks after my due date and we are moving cross country (Sd to oh/pa border)
Tricare not triage, silly phone.
Triage ID number is the subscribers social security number. If it doesn't work then you should call them and ask, they will get you the information.
Ithought your tricare Id number is the military members social. Have you talked to more than one person at the office. Not everyone knows everything about insurance.
I am in Ohio I am sure every state is probably different I applied for Medicaid as well they told me it would take 30 days for coverage I am still waiting that was 3 weeks ago I am going to my ob anyway and set up a self pay account for right now til I can get the whole insurance thing figured out I am 8 weeks I was afraid to wait any longer to go to the doctor the health of my baby comes first in my mind
They suck. It's been a long while since I got out the military so idk. Did you try looking online for the number?
Well, I didn't get approved the same day. They told me to wait a week for a letter in the mail. Still hasn't come. And I can't find the correct number for tri care...
I applied and was approved the same day. It's called "pregnancy Medicaid" here in Florida. They can't really deny you being pregnant buff once I have a baby (from due date) they cut it off a month later.
Well, I can't find the number for my tricare. After my discharge from the army, I had six months of tricare left as benefits. But I can't find out who my provider is or how to get it switched over to one closer to home since I'm not in San Antonio anymore. I'm in fort worth tx. And I applied online at the local office. That's what they told me to do. Didn't seem like they cared much.
Tricare should have referred you to an OB in your area, you should at least see that OB since it will be free for you!
I'm confused are you losing Tricare?
It probably varies by state I know here I applied online and you get confirmation that your application went through but thats it. They have 40 days to approve or deny and if you are approved your coverage backdates to when you applied and you can submit any bills you may have gotten.. It took a month to get my stuff and be approved when I went to the office the first pregnancy I was approved that day just had to submit confirmation of pregnancy
Not true. I received my confirmation number right after I applied cause it goes into effect immediately. That's why you print it out and just take it with you to every appointment till the card comes in. Mine always gets in about 2-3 weeks after I get it set up online.
Medicaid online I had my insurance information after my application but I wasn't active til the following month.
I applied for medicide about 3 months ago and still haven't heard back from them, hopeing to hear back from them soon bc already 6 months pregant. Hopefully you will have better luck then I am, good luck
I was in the same position! My insurance didnt cover pregnancy and i had to apply for medicaid. Just re-apply and be persistant. I waited and waited until i was about 18 weeks and finally went in wondering why i hadnt gotten approved and i was instantly approved after speaking with them.
Sometimes medicaid takes a while. Its much faster if you go into your local office but if you apply online it could take over a month for a response. . I'd go to the office to get it moving
Apply for medicaid online. You should get a confirmation number you can print off to take to the doctor till your card comes in the mail.
