is that a factor

hi my name is dane  ,am 24 yrs ,i went to the doctor yesterday for a thorough check up and he told me that my thyroids is slightly swollen and i have a like 2 ovarian eggs slightly enlarge could that be a proble witn concieving???

Hi there... I have a thyroid problem and the answer to your question is "yes".  If your thyroid is too low or too high it can have serious effects on TTC and also it can effect your baby.  So, if your thyroid is "swollen" you might have a goitor.  Talk with your doctor further and ask them to test your TSH, T3, and T4 levels.  When you test all three they will be able to figure out if you are producing too much or too little thyroid hormones.  Good luck and have fun TTC!

Two enlarged follicles probably means that you're going to ovulate with TWO eggs (meaning you may have a chance for twins). I don't know if your thyroid has anything to do with conception.
