My daughter was born with 3 holes in her heart (they were very tiny though) she is now 15 months and they have all completely closed by them selves. They watched her heart for her first year.

Yes, it wasnt extremely serious but he did have some issues. my bubba was completely average in everything, size, growth everything. Then when he was born his apgar score was perfect. An hour or so later we noticed he was breathing funny, so ped came checked his temp he was cold. They put him under the lights, then said he had scepticemia so he got a lot of anti biotics via iv, and because he was cold they said hypothermia. It took maybe 5 days to clear it all up, mainly the scepticemia. It was hard being without my bubba when i completely never expected it. I could hear other women with their baby at night where mine was in the nursery. Thankfully my little one is perfect now and having my second soon, hopefully this doesnt happen again, and it could have been heaps worse really. All the best. X
