just drink my 1rst cup of cinnamon tea!

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be ! Its not the best  but also not the worse taste . Now time to wait and see what happens.

Ijo964 I also had a hard time drinking the tea so my sister told me to add coffee and suger to help with the taste and it did work for me

Castor oil is a no no. You could get the runs which wouldn't be good while in labor and you could just Google the other reasons why it's not safe. Be safe ladies ! (:

Cumin, oregano, and basil tea are supposed to do the same as cinnamon tea

I hate the taste and smell of cinnamon, what can I substitute it with?? coz I dont wanna try castor oil

Dont add cummin! Tastes awful lol I tried it before my appt today and been having contractions(: just started another pot. No cummin this time. Taste way better.

I added a little sugar and held my nose!the smell and taste gets to you afterwhile. I was just struggling with my second cup!

I know but I tend research the heck out of things to make sure it's something I'm okay with and that's what popped up on medical sites

Sam0716 I boiled for about 10 min with the sticks ..and let it simmer for 5. I only drunk a cup and added a little surgar. Yea there is alot information available!an its  just tea by the way..lol

By the way if you Google it a lot of information comes up with it being a natural inducer because it aids in thinning and dilating the cervix, it also helps stimulate contractions if yoyr body and baby are ready for birth

Why is everyone switching to cinnamon tea?  Saw one woman post about it a few days ago saying a family member told her to try it and now everyone is. Its red raspberry leaf tea thats supposed to help with labor.
