labor and delivery

Has anybody thought about a water birth or just labor in water and then have the baby in a hospital bed?

It did water labor in my own shower at home with my first pregnancy and had him in a hospital bed. My second i had her naturally no water no epidural. This is my third pregnancy and i want to try the shower again either my own or the hospital but i want to have my baby in the bed. I know from my personal experience when i was 16 that warm water helped my contractions i was comfortable and it sped up the labor quickly. I wouldnt try a birth pool

I didn't personally but I know a lady that did and she enjoyed her experience. She said that the water is warm so it helps with the ease of the contractions. She was discharged the same day after she had her baby.Sounds like a nice experience but not for me.

I only had my last baby in May, I was in a midwife unit so I had my own room with its own birthing pool, I got in there but everytime I had a contraction I kept falling down the pool there was nothing to grab onto I felt so unsafe and it didn't help with the pain at all, I don't know why people do it tbh I thought it was Awful I got out after 10 mins xx
