labour story!

After no sleep with contractions on the 8th of Jan I went into hospital to be told I was 1cm dialated and in early slow labour, again not sleeping all night I was fustrated the pains were getting worse my midwife come to the house to check and said theyre definatley contractions she said to go into hospital if they start coming every 3-4minutes or my waters break, anyway it got to around 5 o clock and I was getting more confused as to why everything was the same i went to hospital expecting to be about 2cm dialated and to be sent home again, i was really shocked when she said i was 5cm dialated and getting sent to labour ward this was at 6 o clock, after a few hours of pottering about at 10 o clock my waters still hadnt broke and when she did a examination i was still 5cm... they broke my waters and within the hour everything changed i was having contractions every 2 minutes, when checking again she said i was 8cm, she checked me again after saying i feel like pushing and she said your still only 8 you can't and me saying 'no im being serious i need to push' within 2 minutes of checking me i'd gone from 8 to 10 and then was pushing for all but 15minutes, quite a easy labour but it was all the rest what was hard, afterwards i was bleeding heavy and midwife called for all the doctors in and i had a few blood clots after painfully removing them the dr said i'd be fine, half an hour later the whole bed was covered in blood i called for the midwife who again called for the dr he did the same painful examination removing more blood clots, half an hour later she had to call for the doctor again, this time was the worse he did a examination and had to repeat this 4 times before deciding i needed to go to theatre, after having a natural birth i wasnt too happy, in theatre they removed everything from inside realising i had a ruptured placenta bits of placenta still remaining and blood clots, they were worried as i'd lost alot of blood, but looking at my little boy was worth it all!

Kylan- George born on 9th January (his exact due date) weighing 8pound 4.5oz ♡
