A little blanket for baby, a Bennie for u just in case u get cold after ur shower, and robe :)
And socks! My feet were freezing! I didn't produce any milk till days after so bringing a nursing bra and pads was a waste
I literally didn't use the majority of things in my hospital bag. People told me to bring three outfits and I literally only wore one outfit to go home in..
For starters contact your hospital and see what they do provide. My hospital provided diapers, wipes, onesies, receiving blankets, shampoo, body wash, towels, pads, underwear, tooth brush tooth paste.
So I used what was given
Definitely a going home outfit for you and your baby. My fiancé slept at home (we only stayed one night) for one we have four dogs so I couldn't stand having them alone that long second the recliner looked way too uncomfortable I would rather have him comfortable and get a good nights rest. So bringing clothes for him was a waste
Of course if you want to bring your own tooth brush and all that stuff do it. Deodorant for sure. And I honestly wish I would have brought my Chapstick my lips go so chapped. A brush fer sure too lol I went in to labor at 4am do trying to remember that was a fail.
Your phone charger, if you have insurance it'll cover hospital meals. Thankfully my hospital had amazing food (surprisingly) so I took full advantage.
It got so cold that at the time I rush I had brought a thick blanket but the nurse gave me a heated blanket that was amazing! Most hospitals have them so definitely ask if you need it!
Ummm yeah I literally only used the going home outfits and my finances sweat pants at night because it was cold lol
^^^ omg yes thank u! So I'll probably want to take my own shower stuff as well like soap ext lol hospital soaps weird lol
I'm taking flip flops for the shower
Anyone else??
Those are good items ladies thanks
I took clothes for baby my self a charger diepers and wipes
Don't Take any food at all they won't let you eat it and take a comfy robe you don't want to show your butt to everyone like I did. And make sure you take socks
For me I would say a couple comfy nursing bras and breast pads, a toothbrush, face wash, and an outfit to wear home. I didn't really use much of the other stuff I brought.
