Can you leak and not have bad contractions? I'm 40 weeks tomorrow and this morning I've been leaking, I changed my underwear twice and soaked through a liner, I'm just worried cause I haven't had major contractions yet, they are irritating but not painful

If you can I suggest driving yourself or having a family memeber or friend drive you. You risk a lot of problems if you are leaking. Why put your baby at risk, why is he willing to put his baby at risk? They can test and see what is leaking when you get there, not everyone who answers the phones at the hospital give the best advice because they are crabby and don't want to deal with most of us. If you feel pike you should go, listen to your momma instincts and go.

You really need to go, don't wait for the contractions to get bad if ur already leaking that much. If u get an infection ull have to stay longer in the hospital.

I would go in assp I got infection from waters breaking trust me when I say it's definitely not worth the risk!

That's the thing I lost the number, and have to wait till 8 for the midwife to open so we can get the number, I'm still leaking every time I stand not alot but I notice it, and my stomach is rock hard but no pain. My boyfriend doesn't want to go until we talk to someone or they get painful

I couldn't feel my contractions for ages while being induced but I was very clearly having them just didn't feel any pain. & my waters were broken for me but they leaked for 16 hours so yes it is possible

My doctor told me if you keep soaking through underwear then you are most likely leaking and to call asap or you could get an infection.

Yes you can. When my mother had me she didn't have any contractions she just went to the hospital to please my father and she was already 8cm dilated
