looking for ALL opinions

I'm 6 months pregnant and I work as a pca. The man I work with is dieing of als and is restricted to the bed he is basically paralyzed. He has a sister that stays in the house and he needs to be lifted A LOT I can not do this by myself because of the baby and the stress it puts on my back and stomach. He is stressful and likes to hit and kick also I have had a couple confrontations with his sister. I contacted my supervisor about the situation over a week ago she said she was going to have a meeting with us al but she has failed to do so it has come to the point where I want to quit it is emotionally draining having to get up every day and feel COMPLETELY UNCOMFORTABLE in my place at work but I need the money..thinking about quiting and applying for unemployment because ik that noone would want to hire me pregnant. .WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I would talk to your supervisor again, maybe they can transfer you? If not you can try to find a job at walmart maybe, or baby stores/ maternity for now until the baby is born and then decide to find work in your field... hope the ideas help, good luck

I dont live in texas but tx22 is right; in order to qualify for unemployment, you have to get laidoff. Quitting will not qualify you for unemployment.

In Texas you can't receive unemployment if you quit so I'd look into it to be sure. . Maybe try someone higher up or another manager. . Good luck hun
