quick question

I'm 29 weeks & I get extremely painful leg cramps at night while I'm sleeping. It feels like a Charlie Horse. When I stretch my leg the pain gets excruciating. Is this normal and when will it stooooop :(

I had really bad inner thigh cramps a lot with my first pregnancy.   I sympathize with you.  They are awful. Are you drinking A LOT of water?  That will help.  Prenatal vitamins should help.  And when you get them, have your husband help you to the edge of the bed and let your legs dangle off of the edge and just try to breathe through the cramp while you sit there.  I learned that it doesn't hurt as bad or last as long if I do this.  I hope this helps.

Ughh I have that same issue every night. I get up and walk around alittle bit. Then when I lay back down I put a pillow in between my legs seems to help alittle.

It's common and it *****. Try eating bananas more often stretch your legs bringing your toes up towards your shins a few times a day or when you start feeling a cramp. I get them and it's awful

I read somewhere that those are common in the second trimester. Still, bring it up to your doctor or midwife. Maybe they have a solution. Lol mine didn't except stretch more. Lol

Honestly it is something you have to bring up to your midwife. I have been having them a lot for about 2/3 months and I keep forgetting to talk to a midwife about it. Do the prenatal vitamins you take have potassium in them? Mine dont and that usually is why you get leg cramps "charlie horses"
