marine question

So my childs father is a marine activist now but has been active duty before...is my child able to get any benefits or just regular child support? Does the fact were not married change any of the benefits?

Reserves get insurance but its not prime, its standard which means its not fully covered. Look into it. I know the military uses tricare, because that's the insurance I have. Have him look into it. Or call tricare

I don't think the baby does. If he was active than yes but don't quote me 100%.

From what I know they only get benefits when they have duty. Idk how it works with children. My husband is an active so my son gets full benefits and so do I since were married. You two not being married doesn't effect the baby's benefits since the baby is a dependent, however you won't qualify for benefits since your not married. You can try to call tricare and ask
