I'm so sorry to hear that
Don't blame yourself! Defect could have happened to anybody. Wishing good thoughts your way!
My cousin's baby was born with half a heart and she didn't smoke and ate healthy. Sometimes things just happen. Her daughter is now a happy 7 year old that functions wonderfully.
Its not ur fault just keep ur head up and keep praying for a healthy baby
With modern science and medicine, most heart defects can be fixed! Try not to stress yourself!
I smoked in my first pregnancy and my son is fine. No allergies no defects. This is my second and I've quit smoking completely and same no issues. Just depends on the person and other various things. Some heart defects clear up on their own after birth. They have pace makers if need be. It'll b OK. Don't freak out yet
I don't think it's your fault at all. Usually when things like that happen its not linked to smoking during pregnancy. Things like that unfortunately happen to lots of people and lots in which have never smoked a day in their lives.. It's just a really unfortunate situation but try not to be so hard an down on yourself definitely try an relax get plenty of rest you'll need your strength physically and mentally and your baby is going to need you to be strong for your family I'm sorry to hear what your going through I couldn't imagine.. Prayers for you and your family I hope everything goes well for you and your baby
Just remember everything happens for a reason. God always has a plan. Don't stress. Everything will work out especially with today's medical advancements.
