Full term is 9 months which is 36 weeks. Most drs...for whatever reason are now calling that pre term and 10 months (40 weeks) full term. Majority of the women wanting to induce themselves have all hit 9 months gestation.

My husband is military as well , Camp Pemdleton, baby due Thursday the 11th but scared of going past due date

I know I'm being induced at 39 weeks because my husband is military and we have a cross country move days after our due date and I need to deliver my baby at our current base. After 39 weeks baby is considered full term and some doctors will induce before due dates because of extenuating circumstances or if it is a medical reason. I was hoping to go into labor naturally, but when the military owns your husband, they control every aspect of your life. Lol.
