missed period today, but got a negitive test???

HEY! I am a newlywed, and we are trying to conceive. I was supposed to start today, but i took a test and it was negative...what should i do? Am i still waiting? It usually comes like clockwork..

I still haven't started! So Im gonna go ahead and make an appointment with my OB and see what's going on. Im nervous and excited at the same time. lol. I know I'm just gunna crash right there if Im not pregnant, but if I am I know Im gonna  do cart wheels all the way out of the office. lol!!

What a few more days and then test or if you want to be really sure, go to the doctors and get a blood HCG level tested if you period is still late. It's hard but I can tell you one thing, I was so paranoid and keen to get pregnant that once I relaxed it happened. Makes a big difference, good luck!

with my dd i didnt test postive until i was 3 days late, you could wait a week or even a few days if af doesnt show up! Good luck!!!

it could be the stress of everything delaying your period I would wait a week and if you still haven't started then I would take another test or go to your doctor and get a blood test there.

Thanks!! Yes, i did use my first morning urine. It is very stressful not knowing when we are trying so hard.

Did you use your first morning urine?  I would say that if your period does not come within the next 2-3 days take another test using your first morning urine.  If you are over a week late call you MD and see if they can possibly do some blood work for you.  Good luck and I hope this means BFP for you.
