what should i do?

Since I found out I'm pregnant my Dr hasn't really done anything. They didn't  give me prenatal so I got my own and they haven't given my my check ups or anything. I found out  on 5/19 and they gave me an appointment for 6/26/14. I see everyone else talking about there 6week check up and stuff but I haven't ha any o that. Is that Norma or should I do something?

My mom told me when I was looking for a Dr. To pick 3 n see which one I liked so if u don't like or feel like ur not being treated right then look for another Dr. Asap....good luck

Usually doctors don't see you until 8 weeks.

normally they won't prescribe you your prenatals. you can buy them over the counter. and most Dr's won't see you till your at least 8 weeks If not 10-12. I know with both my girls it was 11 weeks and I got a ultra sound. and it was the same with this pregnancy.

I feel the same way. Like my OB just doesn't care about my pregnancy. It's always in and out when I go. And I schedule my own appointments otherwise I'd never get in. You just have to take charge and make sure they see you. The beginning appointment is always the most important. It sets you up for the rest of the pregnancy.

When you call around I would ask then when is the earliest that they will see you because a lot of offices wont see you before a certain week.

I will try to change my Dr I don't like the fact when they told me I was pregnant they just gave me an appt for 6 weeks later and dust bother to prescribe nd my prenatal or tell me anything at all

I think it depends on the clinic
But if you not comfortable about it
Change clininics asap

With my last pregnancy I didnt get seen until 12 weeks and didnt get seen with this one until 11.
