strange color vomit....

Sorrrryy probably TMI. But I'm 26 weeks today, I stopped getting morning sickness on a regular basis about a month ago and only throw up randomly now. Which I'm convinced has to do with my kidneys (I thought I had a stone that wasn't passing) I went to the urgent care and they wouldn't check or do an ultrasound or anything to check for stones because it was "unsafe" so instead they just gave me hydro's for the pain (wtf, is that safer?!) Which I haven't taken and an antibiotic for a bladder infection and UTI I had....well then yesterday I had a smaaalll bowel movement that was bright green but I didn't feel sick like I had diareah or anything. Then this morning I had a normal bowel movement that looked normal to me...then in the shower I started feeling nauseous and threw up a wholeee bunch of lime green stuff. Like SUPER green...not green like stomach acid or bike which is what I'd normally throw up in the mornings but it was briiight green. Should I be worried at all, what could bright green vomit mean??? Oh and on a side note, my kidney has felt better since I've been taking the antibiotic for uti and bladder infection.

RheaAnn2 oh maybe that's what it is is just causing s blockage because I just finished my antibiotics for uti and bladder infection yesterday, but it still doesn't feel "back to normal" yet. They'll check my urine when I go in there here soon! The doctors and I've had a few people tell me oh they say hydro's are safe...and I'm like that don't mean I wanna take them!!! Lol I won't even take tyonel or anything just because they say its safe doesn't mean it always is or what YOU think is safe. mary1127 that sounds like stomach acid to me if it burns and tastes really really really bad lol and it's a yellowish green. Icky! Try eating crackers or drinking some water right before you get out of bed so that if you get sick you're at least throwing something other than that stuff up!

Yeah it is too risky to do a scan for the kidney stones other than ultrasound. But I think its insane they gave you those! My ob told me the urologists avoid pregnant women like the plague, and they do! I'm having issues again, they told me before that the kidney stones could be causing a blockage which can lead to infection. So I have my urine checked often. I'm sorry you are going through it too!

Yeah they said I had the infections, but couldn't explain why my kidney was hurting for the past month or so. It hurts so bad that I can't talk or breath sometimes but I only had the infection for around a week when I went in but maybe it had started before and I just didn't have symptoms of infection till then, cuz yeah now my kidney hasn't hurt since a couple days after I started the antibiotic. Yeah I was so taken back when they told me they wouldn't check for kidney stones because of safety, but instead hand out hydro's to a pregnant woman saying that THOSE are safe....that may be so but I'm not even going to risk it. I'll give my doctor a call, just wanted to see if any one else ever experienced this. thanks ladies !!

I have kidney stones and the only thing they could do was an ultrasound which they say isn't very reliable. Sounds like you had an infection if the antibiotics are working. I as well refused meds for the pain. As far as the green vomit, bile can be yellow to green. But I would call your Dr just to be safe.
