I am a server/ bartender. Been working 10-12 hr shifts 4 to 5 times a week my whole pregnancy. And we don't get breaks and sometimes don't even get to eat. Customers are rude as hell. And I hate it! My co workers and bosses are very understanding and helpful. I'm 35 weeks now and I cut down my hours 3 weeks ago to 1 8 hr shift and 2 5 hr shifts a week. I have this week and next week and I start my maternity leave. I can't wait! But yes you need to get a note from your doctor since you are high risk and get your hours cut and request more breaks!
I was A server all throughout my pregnancy when I was prego with my daughter. I actually work two serving jobs. Both jobs my bosses and coworkers were absolutely amazing during my pregnancy. But it was very stressful
since your doctor told you you are high risk all you need to tell him it is you need your hours cut off work and he can give you a doctors note
They won't cut back hours and I'm feeling worse I cried myself to sleep and now I'm crying again
angelandDragon i'll give you an update if i found any online jobs.. you good with doin that? some just needs researchers or interpreters.. though im not sure how much they pay, as long as i can work at home i guess im harmless..lol..
You should ask them to cut back your hours.
I was so mad tonight I almost chucked a tray of glass cups at my manager. I was pissed had to stay 2 hours late last night and tonight I can't do it :-(
ooowww.. and that part too.. i dont wanna talk to anybody in the office.. when they talk to me id always say "i dont feel well, shut up" and they get shocked.. im usually the happiest person at work and never say those things..my manager requested that i take some time off coz he got worried.. he called my husband to tell me coz i might snap at him..lol.. im a fraud specialist at a gaming site.. and they dont allow me to answer phone calls anymore..

I'm also realising I'm more angry and I'm gonna loose it and I'm afraid that its gonna be at work and ill hurt someone gahhh. I'm just stressed I'm calling my ob tommorow and asking for a visit and letting him know how I'm feeling I'm just so upset
