Cramping & urinating ?

I have been experiencing menstrual like cramps on & off since I was 30wks, I'm 37w4d now & for about a week now I tend to cramp more after I urinate...is that normal or what could that be?? Please help.

I would let them know about your cramping and tell them you think you have a UTI... then they will check your urine and give you medicine for it.

Okay thank you ladies! I had no idea it could possibly be a uti since I haven't had any burning or pain. I'll definitely be getting some cranberry juice :). I go back to the dr Friday morning, so do they automatically check your usual urine sample for a uti or do you have to tell them to check for it?

Yes UTI can jump start labor so be very careful and try to get the UTI gone fast! Lots of water and cranberry juice (:Good luck!

Yes cloudy urine usually means u have extra protein in ur urine and means a uti..... cranberry juice and lots of water..... also uti can jump start ur labor

Thank you! :) And if it is a UTI could that cause cloudy urine as well? It's been kinda cloudy for a couple days now...

Could possibly be a UTI... I am 27+1 and have been cramping on and off as well and I went to the doctor and they said I had a UTI... got medicine for it to clear... hope this helps! (:
