Hospital bag for me.

Do I need just one outfit to leave the hospital in? Will they want me in the hospital gown the whole time im there or do I need to pack more than one outfit?

Oh, socks! Yes, definitely take warm socks - I like the kind with the nonskid bottoms for walking around... I'm also taking an old robe I don't mind sacrificing.

I brought comfy stuff from home. Maternity lounge pants and PJ pants, pajama tops that button up the front and nursing tank tops and nursing bras, snuggly warm socks, and something a little more public-worthy for heading home in (you'll definitely still need maternity pants though, it takes a while for your uterus to shrink back down to normal). I felt a lot better with my own clothes on rather than a hospital gown.

I'm taking a pair of old pj pants to wear under my gown...I'll also probably take an old t-shirt in case, but not sure if I'll wear it. Other than that, I'm taking house shoes and clothes to leave in.

I stayed in the hospital gown the whole time and just switched when I was leaving to go home. I found it easier also just because they needed to check my stitches to see how I was doing. If you do take clothes to wear make sure you dont care if they get blood on them.
