progesterone shots

has anyone taking progesterone shots and had to stop at 36 weeks pregnant? if so when did labor start for you after the shot finished?

Yes they atop at 36 weeks BC the baby is considered full term at 37 weeks.. my sister had them and went into labor at 41 weeks and my friend had it she went into labor at 40+3 I'm getting them now but I'm only 26+3.

Dovtou have incompetent cervix? Or did you have a preemie before?

I got them with my first and was getting them with this one....had my son 3 days before his due date and well this time still waiting....

I had 3 premature babies. and with my twins my cervix was short. I'm just nervous because I was told that usually you go into labor 7 to 10 days after you stop the shot and I actually want to make it to 40 weeks this time.

I had the shots stopped at 36wks and im now 38 wks and 1 day and still no baby lol

My first was premie so when I got pregnant with my second I had to take the shots they stopped at 36 weeks I went into labor 7 days later the say I didnt get my shot is when my water broke so now im pregnant with my third and having to take the shots again im look to do they same thing with this one...

I was on the pessaries due to a shortened cervix, I had them from 27 weeks until 35 weeks. I am now 36+5 and still going strong with bubs.
