Well apparently mine is all over the place it will be high all day then for a short time it goes down to about 145/95 and they say I am fine and send me home.

OMG that is extremely high! Anything over 120/80 is considered high. L&D never gave you amything? After 15 weeks the ER automatically send you to L&D, at least where I live anyway. They sent me to the ER and gave me a shot then prescribed me meds when I was 13 weeks. They were worried about me having a stroke or heart attack.

Yeah my 24 hr test was fine too. It's strange they didn't give you anything to help with your bp. Mine was extremely high when I was prescribed meds though 193/120, maybe yours is borderline? Maybe you can ask more about it when you have your first one. That's what I plan on doing Wednesday.

They did a 24 hour pee test like a week ago and they said everything looked fine at the time.

If you've hot high bp and protein in your urine they may be concerned with preeclampsia for you too.

yeah it's weird because they've been saying everything looks good with the baby the whole pregnancy then they said at 32 weeks I'll start having them 2x a week, and I'm 32 weeks this week but I wasn't told exactly why. On the one hand I'm concerned they're keeping things from me, but on the other I feel if there is a problem it should easily be detected with me going so frequently. I think they may be concerned about preeclampsia with my bp, but as long as I take my meds it's good.

Where do I start. I have gestational diabetes, high blood pressure and carpal tunnel in my right wrist. And a slow leak of protein in my pee.

Mm idk. Different things makes them do those tests. Im a high risk because i have choleostasis so theyre making sure hes still doing ok every week. Are you high risk for some reason?

They have known I have high blood pressure for weeks and havent done a thing to help. I told them I have headaches, see spots and I actually check my blood pressure at home and its never good. I am 36 weeks and 3 days. He is healthy and gaining weight just fine to the point that he is almost 7 lbs. So he would be fine to come now instead of doing this to me.

How many weeks are you? I only had to do one stress test and that's cause I was over due . I had it done 6 days after my due date

I'm scheduled to have them twice a week for the next 8 weeks. Everything has been going fine so far except I had high bp but I've been managing it with meds. idk why they are sooooo concerned now. I guess it's just preventative :/

But I have had those tons of times and they said he is fine and very active. Why are they worried about it now?

They put two monitors on you and it monitors babys heart rate and if youre having contractions. I get them every week too.
