not feeling so well

I am 21 weeks pregnant and have for the second time during my pregnancy experience violent diarrhea and vomiting all at once I don't know if this is a stomach bug or I ate something that didn't agree but I was in a lot of pain and feel ill still, being a first time mum I am paranoid bout everything I would just like reassurance that this can happen and my baby will be safe

I got this not too long ago. It knocked me out for 4 days. It was the worst. I finally had to go to the urgent care so they could give me pill to stop nausea. It was just super annoying at the time. Keep yourself hydrated as much as you can. The baby is fine. Probably just a little annoyed of the disturbance of you throwing up. Lol. I hope you feel better momma.

Yes it can happen..  sounds like a stomach bug.  Have you gotten your flu shot yet? I just got mine and they give you a " special " flu shot for preggo mommy's.  I would drink plenty of water, and get as much rest as possible.  But do keep in mind, as for my self, diarrhea + throwing up is common in pregnancy.  I experiencedo it a month ago .  Still experiencing the throwing up. "Morning sickness" but when in doubt call your ob midwife.
