39 weeks 4 days pregnant PLEASE HELP!

Im 39 weeks 3 days pregnant my first baby. I've been experiencing Braxton hicks and the last recent one I had was 4 days ago and I went to the hospital because of how bad it was and she examined me, said my cervix is half a cm thick and im 2cm dilated.  Since then I have been seeing brown discharge with pink and now it's yellow. I've been experiencing tightness in my stomach here and there and cramping little contractions. I'm getting so tired and dizzy half way through the day and waking up with my nose red and swollen. I had a hospital appointment today and she examined me and this midwife wasn't well experienced she said that she couldn't see my cervix as its too long. Then she did a swab test to see if my waters have broke but it came out negative. She then suggested that she should put her fingers in to examine if I have dilated any more. I'm starting to think I'm going to give birth late how did I know if my cervix has dilated more? I'm just getting abit impatient and really want bub to come out. I've been stressing and crying for no reason aswell

I am also 39 wks and 4 days. I think you are stressing too much about it. I am so uncomfortable that I have to crawl down my stairs and sleep on the couch (husband isnt thrilled about that lol) this is my 3rd baby and he is estimated at 10 lbs. Monday I was dilated to a 2 and 50% effaced. Doctor stripped my membranes and have had steady small contractions for 2 days. Just relax, put your feet up and let you baby do its thing.
