You can have ambien I take it sometimes not every night though....or some hot tea it helps
Both of my doctors have told me not to take it, they said it's a class C and it isn't recommend : (
Unisom is safe. That's what my doctor recommended.
My dr told me I could but dr knows best. I take it once a week sometimes. I think I read its a class c because it was tested on animals and caused birth defects but not on humans which I think in the firs trimester U shouldnt take it idk though.
You should not take ambien when pregnant... I am a pharmacy tech and unless it is medically necessary you should not be taking it while pregnant. You can take benadryl though, that should put you right to sleep. Ambien can pass through the placenta and cause respiratory problems for baby...
Well darn I feel bad because Ive been taking it hopefully it dosent affect my baby but the dr prescribed it that is so strange
You can take one unisom with one benadryl! They are both safe and it just makes like a stronger sleeping pill. It works great.
My doctor gave me ambien while I wasvin the hospital for 3 weeks while pregnant so I could sleep
I Take 5mg melatonin when I'm desperate and haven't slept good in a couple days. I've been taking children's benadryl almost everynight for the past few weeks because I developed s itchy rash all over my legs since 12 weeks I'm currently 2 weeks.
There's unisom, Tylenol pm, or plan benadryl. I tried all of those and none of them worked. My Dr prescribed me ambien so you can take it just only as needed. We did the sleeping pill instead of pain meds hoping that if I could get some good rest I could manage my pain with just to Tylenol and heat. Good luck
I picked up some unisom... keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks ladies : )
U can take any type of Tylenol it won't hurt the baby
Class c is the lower class, a and b have more possible effects on baby. It really comes down to risk (for baby) over benefit (for mom).
But if you want to just try natural things, try some warm milk, limit your caffeine intake and maybe try to be on a schedule ( same time to bed each night, if u can). That might help your internal clock.
I'm also not able to sleep I'm 25 weeks and had my appt today I've been trying to take benadryl which hasn't been working very well my Dr informed me today that I shouldn't be taking it all he told me to do is refrain from drinking caffeine by 3:00 pm but I'm obviously still not sleeping I see a lot of ppl saying that unisom is good so I'm going to ask my Dr and attempt to try that since I've refrained from taking benadryls so hard to deal with
Unisom works great! Thanks guys!
