numb hands???

Why the heck do I keep waking up with numb hands? I sleep on my left or right side and when i wake up from my nights sleep or even a nap, my hands are numb? This just recently started happening..

This is pregnancy induced carpal tunnel, pretty common. It's from the swelling. Puts a lot of pressure on the carpal vein. That's how mine started, now I can't feel anything from my knuckles to my finger tips. Doctors said it will start going away after baby is born. I sleep with wrist braces.

I sleep with my hand/arm under my pillow and have been waking up with numb hands since idk when lol.

Probably either a pinched nerve or weak circulation. I get that when I lay on my sides too. Or stomach
