27 weeks=7 months but have 13 weeks to go?

Confused! On how the months work! I'm 27 weeks so that's 7 months pregnant but why do I still have 13 weeks to go? I am so confused here :/ someone help and explain it to me? Please and thank you.

Every 3rd month has 5 wks in it. Months 3, 6, and 9.

Every pregnancy is based on a 40 week scale. 40 weeks is 10 months but in some months there are 5 weeks. 27-30 is 7 months 30-35 is 8 months and 35-40 is 9 months. Its seems to confuse ppl when they count it by the months instead of the weeks. I hope this helps!.
